Students undertaking this WebQuest will investigate some of the differing views of the Vietnam War and the reasons for engagement. Whose war was the Vietnam War? What reasons were given for engaging in one of the bloodiest conflicts in Asia? This WebQuest will focus on four belligerent parties in the Vietnam War – Australia, the United States of America, the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese Army. By the end of this WebQuest, students should have a better understanding of the reasons why nations engaged in conflict in Vietnam.
